Jon McGoran's "Drift (Detective Doyle Carrick and Nola Watkins)"

Brilliantly written and carefully plotted with some new twists in the science of crime. Well, science as done by criminals really it all has to do with a suspended cop who runs into some bad apples and then, despite the butterflies in his stomach, manages to cut them down to size. Or even a bit less than their size in one case.

Don't try and figure this review out, it's nowhere as interesting as the book. Buy it. Enjoy it. Pass it around. You'll thank me.
